In the automotive, hi-fi, and actuator industry, protective fluids for electrical plug contacts and interior applications are sought-after products with diverse properties that offer advantages  in the production process and in the application. The fluorescent fluids can be detected under UV light, simplifying automated quality checks.

BECHEM contact protection fluids form an ultra-thin, transparent, and odorless lifetime lubricating film with very low contact resistance that is barely if at all noticeable after application. Thanks to the UV indicator, they can quickly be detected on component surfaces with the help of a UV light, simplifying automated quality checks. Uniform wetting can also be detected under UV light. Thus, the fluorescent fluid is already a quality feature for checking the applied lubricant layer during the production of plug contacts, computer keyboards, or switch boards.

Unlike other synthetic or semi-synthetic fluids, BECHEM contact protection fluids don’t gum or stick to contacts and surfaces.

BECHEM contact protection fluids can be used for mechanical friction partners of every kind in a wide temperature range of -50°C to 250°C without losing their outstanding properties. The fluids are chemically inert and, based on their excellent compatibility with plastics and elastomers, are universally applicable. Moreover, they are compatible with all current surfaces, harmonize especially well with silver, gold, and palladium, and can be applied simply and cleanly by using dipping or spraying processes.
Thanks to uniform wetting on the surface, friction and wear are optimally reduced and, in components with relative movements, creaking noises are prevented permanently. The BECHEM fluids have already successfully proven their capability in various uses in electronic components and interior applications. Convincing properties, such as the reduction of mating and unmating forces, preventing fretting corrosion (cold welding) through microvibrations, the unlimited oxidation stability, especially in connection with atmospheric oxygen and humidity, as well as constantly low contact resistance, make the fluids a crucial design element and present the answer to complex questions.
