BECHEM has had a facility in Bangalore since 2004, which has since established itself as a key center for the development and production of specialty lubricants. Today, BECHEM India is a reliable partner for customers in the automotive, textile, sugar, and heavy industries. With the launch of a new production expansion, the facility is now growing further. At the same time, it’s clear just how much is happening here: state-of-the-art technology, advanced processes, and a clear focus on quality and sustainability demonstrate in concrete terms how the future is being shaped on the ground.
BECHEM India’s new facility covers a built-up area of 3,800 m². It combines state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies with efficient use of resources, optimized processes, and the highest safety standards. The automated production environment enhances consistency and safety while also strengthening the company’s ability to respond flexibly to changing customer requirements. The warehousing infrastructure has also been significantly expanded. With storage capacity increased to 15,000 drums, BECHEM India gains considerable flexibility in inventory planning and can respond more quickly to market demands.
In response to rising market demand, the expanded infrastructure will double production capacity. At the same time, it lays the foundation for a broader product portfolio of specialty lubricants for many industries. The plant also plays a strategic role as a regional operational hub for the Middle East, East Africa, and Southeast Asia. This allows the company to expand both its international reach and its proximity to customers.
Behind this growth is a dedicated team of approximately 300 employees whose expertise plays a decisive role in driving innovation and operational excellence. BECHEM India is supported by a robust sales network of more than 100 distributors who manage the company’s exclusive product lines. Together with three regional sales offices and specialized teams in key markets, this network ensures a reliable and seamless supply of products and services. BECHEM India is certified to IATF 16949:2016 for its processes.
