In the fall of 2016, more than 60 automotive experts of the BECHEM Group and many sales partners met in Berlin. Besides case studies, product presentations and product strategies, the event offered insights into new process technologies and testing facilities in the field of research and development. Not only did the topic of the meeting, “Future technologies and challenges in the automotive industry”, guide the presentations and the chats during the breaks, it was a common theme of the entire event.
Hans Remsing, Head of Expert Team Automotive & Engineering at Deutsche Bank, delivered a guest talk in which he discussed new drive and passenger transport concepts in detail. He also engaged with the topic of autonomous driving and its relevant social conditions.
Stephan Nerb, Head of Innovation Management of the automotive supplier Brose, also contributed as an external speaker. A representative of a globally leading component supplier in the field of automotive electronics, he provided far-reaching insights into a professional supplier relationship management system. Brose classifies BECHEM as a strategic supplier, enabling us to experience the close relationship between suppliers and the company – based on strategic planning and central control for effective procurement support – up close.
