Innovation award for lifetime lubrication.

Brose North America is one of the leading component suppliers in the field of automotive mechatronics, the interplay between mechanics, electrics and electronics. The company is part of the Brose Group, and according to the company itself is the world’s fifth largest automotive supplier, is in family ownership and has more than 24,000 employees at 60 locations. The mechatronic solutions are high-tech systems for vehicle doors, seats and electric drives which the company develops in-house, thereby making car driving even safer, more comfortable and more environmentally friendly – for the lifetime of the car. This is why the lubrication concepts for such components are also called lifetime lubrication.

The illustration of a lock system for a mid-range vehicle shows that here it is not only about a drop of oil in the door lock but a complex system. BECHEM was nominated as the only lubricant supplier, and invited to the Brose Innovation Day in Auburn Hills, USA. At the event, BECHEM introduced a new lubrication concept for Brose door locking systems, and received later for it from Brose the “Top Innovation of the Year” award. Every year, the automotive component manufacturer awards this accolade to a supplier driving forward innovations and product developments within the Brose product portfolio.

The Global Customer Team at BECHEM was recognised for excellent concepts which contribute greatly to comfort and service life by reducing closing forces.
